"Empowering People, Building Futures."
Tracing the evolution of Independent Livelihood Multi-State Co-Operative Society Ltd.
Independent Livelihood Multi-State Co-Operative Society Ltd. was founded with a vision to empower communities through cooperative principles. Starting with just 50 members and a single office in New Delhi, our journey began with a focus on providing financial services to underserved communities.
After three years of dedicated service, ILCS expanded its operations to three more states: Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan. This expansion marked our commitment to reaching more communities and diversifying our services beyond financial inclusion.
Recognizing the need for skill development in rural areas, ILCS launched its first vocational training programs focused on agriculture, handicrafts, and small business management. These programs have since empowered thousands of individuals with sustainable livelihood skills.
Embracing the digital revolution, ILCS implemented a comprehensive digital transformation strategy. This included the introduction of mobile banking services, digital record-keeping, and online membership management, significantly improving efficiency and accessibility.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ILCS played a crucial role in supporting communities through relief efforts, financial assistance, and awareness campaigns. Our members and staff worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve.
ILCS received national recognition for its contribution to cooperative development and financial inclusion.
Today, ILCS operates across 15 states with over 200 branches and 50,000+ members. Our diverse portfolio includes financial services, skill development, sustainable agriculture initiatives, and women empowerment programs, making us a leading cooperative society in India.
